CHICAGO — Today, candidate for Chicago Mayor Joe Holberg announced that his campaign surpassed $1 million in total raised since launching his campaign and raised an additional $330,000+ in the second quarter of 2026. They have $1.03M cash on hand as of the end of the quarter.
"Our campaign continues to accelerate and bring in hundreds of new supporters, contributors, and volunteers that are fed up with the political class candidates. With the recent explosion of bandwagon candidates, our campaign is connecting with people who want a problem solver – not another politician." Holberg said. "Dissatisfaction with current leadership has brought together nearly 1,000 volunteers, supporters, and donors, united by hope and the belief that we can - and must - do better as a city."
Supporters of Holberg's campaign are signing onto Joe's platform:
- Turn our economic engine back on to create jobs and support business growth
- Keep Chicago affordable by building at least 100,000 new units of housing
- Balance the city's budget without mortgaging our future
- Improve educational outcomes for all students across the city to prepare them for the jobs of the future
"As a Chicago-based job creator who grew up in a financially unstable household on food stamps early in my life, I know how much affordability matters to people from all walks of life across the city." Holberg continued. "Chicago needs a mayor who understands how to make the city more affordable and to put people and families on track to reach their goals and dreams."
